At the same time, a seven-year-old child was lost their life in a distinct aerial attack in the Zaporizhzhia region in the country's south-east, based on information from local officials.

Russian forces has increased strikes on power infrastructure over the last fortnight, while officials has demanded "real steps" from international partners to exert influence on Russia.

Officials stated that 450 drones and several dozen rockets targeted Ukraine's energy infrastructure, labeling such strikes as "cynical and calculated" and against "critical infrastructure" as winter approaches.

The energy minister said Moscow was "inflicting a massive strike" and maintenance teams were striving to repair systems.

Government officials told the media that Moscow was intentionally trying to damage the electrical infrastructure, with assaults already disrupting fuel infrastructure.

Authorities confirmed energy workers and government agencies were anticipating further attacks.
